Why You Haven’t Seen New Content Lately: LinkedIn Posting Issues Explained

LinkedIn Posting Broken

Have you noticed a LinkedIn blog posting issue with EagleEyeT?

Over the past weeks, some of you may have seen a sudden pause in new blog post updates on our LinkedIn page.

First, I want to thank everyone who reached out or continued to check the website directly, your ongoing support means a lot! In today’s post, I want to be transparent about what’s been happening behind the scenes, why there’s been a gap in LinkedIn updates, and what’s being done to resolve the issue.

LinkedIn Blog Posting Issue - What Happened?

For those who may not be aware, I’ve always prioritized sharing my latest tech reviews, security updates, and blog articles across all major social media channels, primarily LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram. This cross platform sharing is typically managed automatically via the blog’s backend tool  Jetpack, saving time and ensuring consistency for followers on any platform.

However, as of May 2nd 2025, I began noticing that, while new posts were going out to Facebook and Instagram, LinkedIn had suddenly stopped receiving updates. The website itself remained active, and content was being published regularly, but the LinkedIn audience was left in the dark.

Troubleshooting the LinkedIn Issue

Naturally, my first step was to check the integrations powering the automated social shares. When trying to reconnect to my LinkedIn page through Jetpack but was getting errors. At this point it was clear that i needed to escalate to the Jetpack vendors support team.

With the assistance of the support team they advised that they were seeing error 403’s, which means forbidden, and I had advised them that CloudFlare is being used for my domain.

I was provided with the IP address blocks used by Jetpack and added the ip’s to the CloudFlare WAF allowing traffic from these address blocks to bypass the WAF firewall.

Seeing the issue still persisting, I proceeded to check the server firewall as well as the edge firewall after Jetpack support advised me that it works over port 80 and 443 and I know already that these ports are open on the infrastructure edge firewall as well as the servers firewall.

The website is currently hosted on my friends CloudPanel server which allows the abilitiy to restrict traffic to ones site coming from CloudFlare IP addresses. This means that the DNS records for the domain would need to be proxied by CloudFlare.

I then disabled this setting on CloudPanel and removed the proxied dns records for my website’s domain. After doing this I tested again and even got confirmation that all is ok from Jetpack support and was able to successfully connect LinkedIn back to jetpack.

Why This Affected Content Posting

While Facebook and Instagram continued to receive all new articles and updates, LinkedIn’s integration failure meant followers on that platform saw nothing new, giving the impression that EagleEyeT had paused content creation.

To avoid duplication or manual errors, I chose not to manually repost every update, instead focusing on resolving the issue for the long term.

As a result, it might have looked like the blog itself was inactive, but in reality, all regular content was still being created and shared on other platforms.

I recognize that LinkedIn is a key channel for many of you, especially those in the tech and business community, and I sincerely apologize for any confusion or missed updates.

LinkedIn Blog Posting Issue - What’s Next?

Now that the issue has been resolved, I can resume what I enjoy doing and that is writing blog posts for you the readers.

In addition as I am writing new posts, I will monitor and ensure that Jetpack remains connected to all social media channels so as to ensure that you the readers do not miss out on any new posts and EagleEyeT developments.

I am also working on rolling out a newsletter where you can get updates about new posts right to your inbox, as well as a community forum where we can discuss any technology topics or issues you have encountered or are experiencing.

Key Points / Takeaways:

  • The lack of LinkedIn updates was due to technical issues with the integration, not a lack of new content.
  • Facebook and Instagram continued to receive new blog post notifications as normal.
  • I’m committed to transparency, resolving the issue, and ensuring all platforms are kept up to date in the future.

Conclusion:

Technical hiccups are an inevitable part of running any blog or website, and while they can be frustrating, they also present opportunities to improve.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as I worked through this LinkedIn integration challenge.

As always, if you want to stay in the loop, you can visit EagleEyeT.net directly or follow on Facebook and Instagram for uninterrupted updates.
